TORLEIF THEDÉEN – Concerts in Hamburg, Dortmund and Berlin
A long musical friendship connects the cellist Torleif Thedéen and Janine Jansen (violin). Together with her and Boris Brovtsyn (violin), Maxim Rysanov and Amihai Grosz (viola) and Jens Peter Maintz (cello), he will perform in May 2012 in Hamburg Laeiszhalle, in the Dortmund Konzerthaus and in the Kammermusiksaal of the Berlin Philharrmonie. Program: Verklärte Nacht by Arnold Schönberg and Schubert's String Quintet.

PETER RÖSEL – 32 Beethoven piano sonatas on CD published by King Records
All 32 piano sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven performed by Peter Rösel are available on CD since January 2012.
In autumn last year he had finished the Beethoven cycle in Tokyo. On invitation of the Kioi Foundation the performance of the sonatas, starting in 2008, took place within a period of four years, split into eight concerts. Peter Rösel performed the cycle also in Lausanne and castles of the Dresden region. The concerts in the Kioi Hall Tokyo have been live recorded and published by King Records Japan.



ANDREY BOREYKO will conduct the project Irrsal of the Tonhalle Düsseldorf
In New York the International Society for the Performing Arts has decorated the Tonhalle Düsseldorf for the outstanding artistic potential of their project Irrsal. Irrsal is a multimedia work based on the music by Hugo Wolf and the poems by Eduard Mörike, which was developed in co-production by the concert halls of Tonhalle Düsseldorf and De Doelen in Rotterdam. The orchestral songs will be performed live in front of a specially produced feature film. The leading role in film and on stage will be taken over by the internationally celebrated baritone Dietrich Henschel. The project will be performed at Tonhalle Düsseldorf in September 2013 by the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its Music Director Andrey Boreyko.



ECKEHARD STIERDebut concerts in Tokyo and London
Eckehard Stier, Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, the Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie and General Music Director of the city of Görlitz gave his debut in Tokyo on January 7 and 8, 2012. Together with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Chorus and the soloists Benjamin Nuss and Rony Barrak Eckhard Stier led the performance of Symphonic fantasies Tokyo-music from Square Enix at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Hall.
Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo can be considered as one of the most successful events with music from video games. The 4600 seats of the prestigious concert hall were sold out within few hours after the concerts had been announced. Eckehard Stier had already experience in performing game music. With great success he led the recording of the Yoko Shimomura drammatica CD album with the WDR Radio Orchestra Cologne.

On February 12, 2012 Eckehard Stier made?his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Congress Theatre Eastbourne with works of Antonin Dvorak – Carnival Overture, Cello Concert in h minor, op. 104, Symphony No. 7 in d minor, op. 70. Soloist was Collin Carr.
